2nd Annual New Jersey Beer and Food Festival at Crystal Springs Resort

Crystal Springs Resort continues to brew up new ways to have fun with the 2nd Annual NJ Beer and Food Festival! The event takes place August 13-15. Spend a day or the whole weekend as you sample your favorite brews, discover a variety of new flavorful beers, enjoy great food ranging from an all-out BBQ feast to a 4-course gourmet meal, party to all your favorite music, take part in a seminar/beer tasting competition, participate in the Brews & Birdies Golf Tournament and so much more! Participating breweries include Cricket Hill Brewing Company.

Handcrafted Cream Ale at Krogh’s

Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub at 23 White Deer Plaza in Sparta is featuring a handcrafted cream ale in August. After a customer poll, August’s handcrafted beer is named after one of their well-respected bartenders, the late Tom Klosterhoff. So take a break from the heat of the summer and try Krogh’s “Tom Klosterhoff Cream Ale!”

Also in August, Krogh’s will once again be sponsoring the 14th Annual Home Brew Contest at the New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show. Judging will take place prior to the fair and updates will be released in future newsletters. Enjoy the summer!

Meet the Brewer — New Jersey Beer Co. at Star Bar on August 5th

Star Bar in Jersey City is excited to host a special brewery night featuring New Jersey Beer Co.. The brewers will be on hand with their entire lineup of fresh beer. Enjoy pints at super cheap prices and say howdy to the folks behind the label! Thursday, August 5th from 6 PM – 10 PM.

The Flying Fish Road Warrior Bocce Ball Team Travels to Delaware!

Flying Fish Brewing Company will be bowling head to head on the bocce court with Dogfish Head, Victory, Yards, Stewart’s and Sly Fox. The event is hosted by Iron Hill Wilmington and takes place Thursday, August 19th from 7 – 10 PM. Come see who walks away with the championship trophy! Beers from each brewery will be on tap during the competition.
