Sample our award winning wines and choose from a wide variety of desserts to sample from milk and white chocolate dipped strawberries and other dipped desserts along with éclairs, cream puffs, cakes and cookies. The owner of Creative Confections, Cheryl Pirrera from Toms River, will be at the winery Saturday and Sunday sampling and selling her sweet creations. She will also be dipping Plagido wine bottles in her chocolate. Cheryl wraps each bottle in cellophane and puts a small string along the entire length of each bottle. She then decorates the outside of the bottle with different chocolates. At the same time customers pour wine from the bottle they also tug at the string, allowing the chocolate to fall off and be eaten with the wine.

Friday night from 7 to 11 p.m. is the Oldies Concert Dinner and Dancing in the brand new Winemakers Ballroom. This is New Jersey’s largest winery complex and the ballroom is a state of the art dining and entertainment facility. The evening features dinner and dancing and music by The Cameos, as nine-piece vocal harmony group doing music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Reservations are required and cost is $60 plus tax per person.
Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., Valenzano Winery will be offering a lunch buffet, live entertainment from noon – 4pm, special discounts on cases of wine, chocolate pairing with Dessert wines by “Our Sweet Place”, a cheese tasting by Cabot Creamery, and book signing by local writer, Kathy Rowe, author of Dragonslayers series.
